The Dallas Public Library sells their audio books for 25 cents ea., or $6.00 for a big box. Is that hidden gem or what? The little store inside the library is called "Book Ends" - for me, the problem is getting my daughter to take me down there. It's in a dangerous neighborhood, and you have to park in a spooky cave. She hates driving down there. Judye |

The books I bought were delivered to the nursing home today, and I cleaned out all their damaged books. I do this about once every 3 months. It did my heart good to see a lady reading one of my books and using one of my bookmarks. There are 5 bookcases. Judye |

Just saw this and thought I'd let you know that the Dallas Public Library closed Book Ends on July 30. There was an article in the newspaper about a month before they closed. It wasn't making enough money for them. The city/county will be remodeling the space and the department of Vital Statistics will be going in there and opening in September. |
