This is just the info from PBS's system. If you just tossed it into a blue box instead of taking it to the PO to be scanned, it may not get scanned until it reaches its destination.

It hasn't been scanned into the USPS system. And Melanie is correct that the only scan may indeed be the delivery scan.

FYI,  I've sent two books using the PBS postage and DC and both books were delivered WITHOUT ever being scanned even upon delivery. The postal site has nothing on the DC except to say to check with sender! I wonder why I bother to waste the money on the DC if it's never scanned.

I am having the same problems.  I spoke to someone at USPS customer service and all of my packages show up on THEIR computers, but PBS doesn't show any information and when I type in the DC number at the USPS website it shows "no information available for this item".  I am waiting to hear from technical support.  I'll post their response here for everyone.

That last book I sent is currently showing the same thing. First time for me that this has ever happened. I guess I'll just wait for it to get to it's destination.

I've mailed six books this week with PBS postage, and none of them show up as scanned yet. A couple were mailed on the 11th....and still nothing.

Makes me kinda nervous. I like being able to just drop them in a box.....and the instant credit is nice.....but I don't like having to wonder if they are going to get lost in the mail.

If a book using PBS postage is never delivered, when it goes missing, do we lose our credit??
