I made the mistake of sending out the wrong book and the requestor correctly marked the transaction as "wrong book mailed by sender". I have since mailed the correct book and the requestor pm'd me back to say he has received it. Is he now supposed to change the status in any way to reflect that the situation has been resolved?

Yes he should go back and mark it that it was resolved by the sender.  How long ago did he receive the right book? Not everyone has computer access everyday.  Or he may not know that he needs to do it or how. I had someone incorrectly mark a book I sent a RWP wrong book.  She wanted an audio but received a hardback. I posted a hardback and the listing said hardback so that's what I sent.  Someone she ordered the wrong book. I had to tell her how to go back and mark it as resolved.

He just PM'd me this evening to say that he had received it, and I assume he doesn't know he is to do something on his end now. I have PM'd him back with the request to change the status to "resolved by sender", and hopefully he will do that. Thanks for your advice!

Deb,

In case he doesnt know where to mark the problem as Resolved, there is a button on the listing in his Transaction Archive. He can mark it from there.
