Hello, I recevied a request for two books to go to the same member. The books were received (they were packaged together) but I only got credit for one of the books. I don't understand why the member would not check off both books received. There is definately nothing wrong with the book. Do I contact the member?? They were mailed November first and one of the books was marked received 11/8 so shouldn't both books have been marked received? Thanks! |

did you DC? if you did and didn't use the bulk mail option (not sure how it works) then you might have gotten one credit automatically when they scanned the DC vs the member marking it received. Give it a few more days and if it isn't marked received by say Monday, PM the member and ask oh wait, just read that one of the books was marked received on 11/8. Yes, I'd PM that member since that is a week ago. although I'm wondering if you used DC as I mentioned above and if you are sure the member marked it received or if it was DC and an automatic thing Last Edited on: 11/16/07 9:24 AM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

If you packaged them together then yes, both should've been marked received. I'd pm the member and ask them to please mark the other book received. Did you use PBS instant credit (Delivery Confirmation) for the books? If so then you would've gotten 1 of the credits once the DC label was scanned, or instantly if you use printable postage too. Even so, the book should still be marked received by the person you sent them to. |

Yes, I use the bulk mail option and printed out the PBS label. I always do DC. But usually when I get the credit for being scanned the book isn't marked received. So it had to have been received. Right? Thanks! |

Right! Just scanning it doesn't mark it received. Right now I have 3 books showing as delivered (used DC on all of them) but none have been marked received. The receiver is responsible for marking rec'd whether you used DC or not. I'd pm them and ask them to please mark it received so it doesn't go to "lost in mail" status. |

Since we have to mark off each book individually, I'd bet that the receiver just forgot to mark off the second book as received. Send them a PM to remind them that there were two books and they already marked off one of them. I'm sure they'll be happy to remedy the situation for you. Carol Ann |
