I have a somewhat beat up copy of The Journeyer available.  It's an over-sized soft cover, with a somewhat curling front cover (DH beats the heck out of my books!!), and a few pages (not too many) here and there that got splashed with water.  It would probably pass PBS guidelines, but I don't want to risk some ultra picky person getting it and chewing me out.  Personally the condition of the book wouldn't bother me in the slightest, but I know there are some who are more particular than I am.  Besides, I'd rather send such an exceptional book to a HF bud!  ISBN is 978-0-7653-2349-1.

I also have a paperback copy of The Girl WIth the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson.  ISBN is 978-0-307-45454-6.

PM me if interested. I'll check my PMs tomorrow morning.

We have an emergency!  TWO "September Available Books" threads!  This is serious ladies; someone might miss a fantastic deal.  So...I"m moving the one post in the other thread here, since two people posted here.  Whew.  It's not easy being a Super Hero, I'll tell ya!

Kelly offered this book:

Up for grabs is A Murderous Procession, by Ariana Franklin - 4th Adelia book. (Not that this should matter, but this particular copy originally came from Shelley & has now read by Linda & me. Several august sets of fingerprints on this book if we do say sor ourselves!)

Drop me a PM if interested.    Kelly

A Murderous Procession (Mistress of the Art of Death, Bk 4) :: Ariana Franklin
ISBN-13: 9780399156281 - ISBN-10: 0399156283 passport.png

This wonderful book has been claimed by some lucky reader.  smiley

Between august sets of fingerprints on one book, and another good, noble book reaching the end of its reading life...I"m getting all choked up here this morning!  I better go find some coffee and settle myself down!

Vicky - Thanks for coming to our rescue! I looked for an "available books" thread for the month, but didn't see one.  My apologies to Kelly & Linda for missing their thread.

Kelly - So glad you ladies are sharing the love with the Franklin book!

I'm glad the two thread situation has been taken care of! I came here the day they were both posted to offer some books, but seeing two threads flummoxed me and I ran away. I adore both of the thread starters...how could I choose between them??? :-D

I've added my available books and ARC's to some book lists. You can see them on my profile or click below...'

Wishlisted Books - http://www.paperbackswap.com/Wishlisted-Books/list/1840/

List of ARC's - http://www.paperbackswap.com/List-ARCs/list/1841/

Don't look to see how many book lists I've made, it's kind of embarrassing! I got a little too involved with making those lists. ;-)

I really need to spend more time on this forum, since I love historical fiction.   Roman Britain is my favorite, followed by ancient Rome in general and medieval historical fiction.

Anyway, I picked up a copy of Mistress of Rome by Kate Quinn on the Border's $3.99 sale table.  It was too good to pass up.  I finished it and am happy to pass it on.  I see there are 30+ people on the wish list!   But I wanted to offer it to the historical fiction group first, so if anyone wants it, let me know.

Mistress of Rome has been claimedsmiley

What am I doing in this thread??  I need to READ, not ACQUIRE!  No more books (unless they are on my WL, of course) until the end of the year.  I need to make some serious headway here.  I hate shopping, but books...ah, books I can "buy" all day long.  It's a sickness!

I tried the book diet earlier this year and, just like my normal attempts at a weigh-loss diet, I did really good for two or three months, reduced by a few, then went on a binge and haven't been able to get back in control since!

Subject: I hope this is the right forum thread, if not, please disregard!

I have all three in paperback.  While I believe all three are postable by PBS standards....1 of them has many folds and bends on the cover as well as a 1/2" tears on the spine.  They are printed from 1975-1978 and the edges have yellowed.  If anyone is interested in all three (to save me postage)  2 credits for all three.

The Bastard King, The Lion of Justice & The Passionate Enemies.

I have a gently read ARC of Corrag by Susan Fletcher.  I just finished it and my mind is still in the book and I'm still waiting to snap out of it.  It's bittersweet....

One credit please.  PM me if you are interested.

I'm off to get ice cream.  Maybe that will help.  =)

Is anyone interested in "The Heretic Queen" by Michelle Moran?  The ISBN is 978-0-307-38176-7.  Mel's puppy Mischa kissed page 66, so it's a bit wrinkled, but otherwise it's a nice trade size pb.

Let me know, and I'll post it to your wish list.
