New Month! (Strange my subject posted but can't seem to post my message)

Anyway, I finished Me Before You, very different, but really glad I read this one.

Then I read a few duds that I had high hopes for - Hudson (Fixed Trilogy) and Mr. X.

I finished When Day Breaks and liked it even though it was probably my least fave of the KGI series. I found a ton of the dialogue to be really cheesy.

Now reading Chill Factor by Sandra Brown.  It's an oldie but I picked it up for Kindle for a buck so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm about 40% in and liking it a lot!

I almost bought Chill Factor but remembered I read it after I read the sample.

I read If I Stay, which was ok but didn't quite live up to the hoopla. It was a quick read though, and I'll probably read the sequel when the ebook is available from my public library.

Now reading Present Perfect.

Ooooh, I loved Present Perfect.

It's been quite awhile since I read If I Stay and Where She Went. I do know that I thought they were just ok. Nothing that blew me away, that's for sure. I think maybe I just had 'too high' expectations.

I'm reading Forged by Jaquelyn Frank. I'm glad I read the Nightwalkers series or I'd be lost.

I read Learning to Love: Michael and Sean by K.C. Wells. Not my favorite from this author but I'm going to continue the series and hope they get better. I have already bought them, after all. LOL

Just way too sugary sweet and not manly enough. cheeky

What is with the disappearing posts?

Finished Present Perfect. Overall I really liked it but I was getting a little frustrated with the h there for a while.

Then read a library loaner, What Alice Forgot, more a chick-lit book than romance, but still good.

Now I'm reading KA's The Will, and was just notified that Outlander is available on ebook from my library. I really want to read it before I watch the series but every time I look at the (physical) book, I feel overwhelmed. Glad to get the ebook.

I've just finished reading Mean Streak by Sandra Brown.  Really enjoyed it; one of the best books I've read lately.

Good to hear. I just saw my libary has this available to download. I may need to make room on my hold list to reserve it.

KA's The Will isn't doing anything for me, other than annoying me with the way the h talks.

I'm reading thru The MacKenzies by Liliana Hart.  Read the first four plus 3 shorter novellas.  I'm up to Cade and then the MacKenzie Security Series.  The books are shorter, only about 50 pages each.

Ok so Learning to Love: Evan and Daniel was a big fat DNF. Ugh...I'm so disappointed because I really do love this author. Her Collars and Cuffs series is one of my fave m/m BDSM series. These Learning to Love books are just so, so different. I'm all for gay romance, I love it. But gay or not, the characters are still MEN. In these books they act like freakin' adolescent girls.

That's a shame Missy. I know the feeling.

I read/skimmed about half of The Will and I think that one's going to be a DNF for me. A shame to not read a KA book (and waste a loan that someone generously gave), but there are just too many other books I want to read to struggle through another one that doesn't draw me in. I was almost getting used to her language and then KA started throwing the word 'thus' into her conversation. I'm sorry but no one could think that's cute like the H supposedly does.

I think I'm going to start Outlander instead. If for some reason I finish that before The Will is due back, I'll try again to finish The Will.

Ooh, an Outlander newbie! You'll love it. Oh, to meet Jamie again for the first time. *sigh*

I finished the Mortal Instruments. Loved loved loved that epilogue in City of Heavenly Fire. Now I'm really looking forward to her new series focusing on Emma and Jules.

I'm now about halfway through Emma Lang's Endless Love. I like this one better than most of the others in this series so far.

Just finished reading Texas True by Janet Dailey.  Pretty good book and I gave it a 4 star rating.  There is supposed to be a second book in her The Tylers of Texas series coming out next year.  Since Janet has passed away, it will be interesting to see how the series turns out or if there are more books to come.

Finished Mean Streak as well and I really loved it, the twists and turns of the book really kept me up reading the entire thing in one sitting! I have read so much, I will have to come back later and post it all.

I'm now reading Veiled Innocence by Ella Frank. I knew next to nothing about it when I started so I was surprised to find out it's a student / teacher theme. I'm almost 50% into it and its very intriguing.

Veiled Innocence was very good. It was kinda a cross between an erotic romance and psychological thriller.

I'm now reading Complementary Colors by Adrienne Wilder. I'm about a third of the way in and loving it. I don't think I've ever hated a character as much though as one of the characters in this book.

I finished Outlander and am so glad I finally read it. Hope to find time to catch up on the Starz series soon. Also read Sweet Addiction. Very steamy but a little short on plot. But it was a nice quick read after Outlander.

Now reading Redneck Romeo.

I started back into Joey W. Hill's vampire world, finished Vampire Mistress, which I thought was incredibly slow in parts, and now onto Vampire Instinct.
