Awesome Audiobook. This book follows the career of Marcus Luttrell right after the events in LONE SURVIVOR until he retires from the seals. He does an excellent job in explaining what it is like to be in the military during combat, what it means to be a veteran and the mindset of lifer military person. You don't even have to be a Seal to appreciate and relate to the experiences that he talks about. There is even a part, near the end where you hear from 4 military wives. They explain what it means to be a military spouse. I thought that was a nice touch. If you've never been to combat or served in the military, this book does well in explaining what it is like. If you are currently in or had served at one time, you will relate to what he is saying and even might apply the context into your own experiences. You will also hear what the war in Afghanistan was really like..NOT what the news tries to portray.
