Do you all know this song by Adele?  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsEkBz8JkQY

I want a book that touches me the same way.  Something passionate (but it doesn't need to be erotica).  It doesn't have to be about making a choice or losing someone either.  Just a book that reaches out and grabs my soul like this song does.

Any recommendations?  And if it's on your shelf, let me know that too!

Thanks for looking!

I really loved this book, Ani: Strangers by Barbara Elsborg.  Yes, it is erotica but that isn't the basis for the book.  Its powerful, emotional, funny, witty, passionate, moving...you name it.  Just loved it! You know, "I laughed, I cried, it became a part of me..."

The one book that immediately came to mind for me was Fierce Radiance by Tymber Dalton.  That book puts me through the ringer every time I read it.  And even though I know what's coming I still cry every time.  The heroine has so much pain and loss to get through, and at times you think it just won't stop.  But she is SOOO strong and of course it has a HEA.  It is a mmf book though, along with being sci-fi erotica, so just prior warning for those that don't like those elements.

Thanks!  I've added both of those to my WL!

Laid Bare by Lauren Dane

The Reluctant Dom by Tymber Dalton

Both are such great books, they just reached out to me and won't leave my head for long.  Happy and sad and make me cry, all at the same time.

I've got a bunch of Lauren Dane on my Nook.  I'll have to see if that is one of them!

Oh I just read Laid Bare too. Of course I read it out of order because I read - crap this crummy brain - the last one about Adrian (maybe Never Enough). I really like this series.

Oh yes, Never Enough is awesome too.  Nearly as good as Laid Bare.  The whole series is good but those two are my favorites.

Add me to the Laid Bare fans.  I loved that book too and am waiting to get Adrian's book.  I did like the other two, but not nearly as much as the first.

I should be at the bookstore tomorrow. I think I'll have to break down and buy (it wasn't on my Nook) instead of waiting for it here!
