I hated the way the heroine used the hero for "stress relief". He was a biker/teacher but he wasn't BAD enough to make her straighten up.
A variation - this time the GIRL doesn't want a commitment. Entertaining
Light and sexy read. I enjoyed it!!
A great read! I love this author and if you're into chick lit, you will to.
Great book. Heartwarming and sexy!
Very good! What's a girl to do when she has sex with a guy (without even dating him) and when she tries to dump him, he won't let her!!
If you liked Shalvis' Lucky Harbor or Animal Magnetism series, don't waste you time on this one. I loved those books and had to force myself to finish this one. There is a moving happy ending, but the heroine is so awful throughout that I just can't recommend it. Mia is the stereotype of the uber-successful woman who doesn't have time for feelings because she's wedded to her job. Thankfully I can't relate to that life, so unless you know you'll enjoy reading about it, skip this book.
Didn't even bother finishing.
This book was well written and the story was well paced. No major angst. Cute, fun read.
WARNING: Not for those who like a chaste heroine.
STORY: Mia has a fabulous job, big paycheck and a condo in the Los Angeles hills, everything she ever dreamed of as a poor kid from the wrong side of the tracks. When she meets a man she likes, she's not opposed to a one-night-stand, but no commitments for Mia! Until Kevin comes along. Their "magic" in bed has Kevin trying to convince Mia that they are meant to be together. Throw in a runaway neice who shows up on her doorstep. Humorous dialog and situations. A story for those who are not offended by casual sex.
