The characters were flat and uninteresting, and the storyline unimaginative. Read only for completeness sake.

Decent addition to the Star Wars extended universe. A must for anyone left wanting more of Darth Maul.

A Neimodian who was in on the plot to invade Naboo in Episode 1 disappears and Darth Sidious sends his apprentice Darth Maul to find and kill him and any others who may know about the coming invasion.

I really liked this book. I was always curious about Darth Maul's history after seeing that horrendous movie, Star Wars Episode I. This gave some details of his relationship with Darth Sidious. Also, has some pre-Episode I events.

Interesting story with good characters not in the main stream Star Wars.
