A typical love story with some ups & downs. They meet as Leigh is about to give birth on the side of the road & a rugged man, Chad stops to assist her. He appears at her house months later for a whirl-wind courtship. But there are things in both of their pasts that may put an end to the relationship.

I didn't realize this was one of her romance-type books which I really don't like. Way too flowery for me. But I do like the mystery books that she writes.

I love these old books...Emphasis on building the scene instead of turning down the sheets. A keeper for me....I have always been in love with the John Wayne movie Hellfighters and I can see this Chad being Hellfighters Greg!

This was the last one on my list to read of Sandra Brown's. I've read them all and have loved 95% of them. Sure, they may be predictable but sometimes that's just what I want;-)
