Karen Whiddon also writes books that have some shape shifting in them. I have Lair of the Lion by Christine Feehan, and I think it has a little bit of it in there but I might be wrong on that one.

Not strictly a "romance" but a wonderful series are the Mercy Thompson books by Patricia Briggs:  Moon Called (Mercy Thompson Series, Book 1)  Blood Bound (Mercy Thompson Series, Book 2), Iron Kissed (Mercy Thompson Series, Book 3).  Iron Kissed was just released.

In the Parallel series by Deidre Knight some of the charactars can shift into other people, lrg scary aliens or balls if fire and energy.

In the Dragon Lord series by Michelle Pillow the men can change into well dragons.  She has a feline series as well but I haven't read those. The dragon ones are good.

Christina Dodd has a new shape-shifter series. I can't say it's terrific, but an okay read. Ummm... Scent of Darkness? Taste of Darkness? Something like that.

there are a lot of good suggestions here.  i also loved 'stray', byt rachel vincent.  :)  it is (hopefully) the start of a new series.  i highly recommend it.  also, stephanie rowe has a series (only one is about a shape-shifter - dragon), but it is fun to read and the other books are also paranormals.  enjoy!

Welcome Michelle!

I know some of the Silhouette Nocturne line has books with shapeshifters in them.  Lindsay McKenna wrote a series for them, Warriors of something (can't remember what) that has shapeshifters.  I've got a book on my TBR pile with a shapeshifter too, I'll look it up and post back what the author/title are.

I'm reading one right now you might like.  Its by Lucy Monroe and its called Moon Awakening.  Its her first try at paranormal but I must say she's doing a great job!

Eileen Wilks has a series about the Others. features witches, shapeshifters, demons, fae, etc.

Also, if you are looking for steamier stuff, like the previously mentioned Angela Knight, try Shiloh Walker's Hunter series.  Features both vampires and shapeshifters.

Some of Marjorie Liu's Dirk and Steele books also feature some characters who shift into wolves, birds, dragons, etc.

Jean Johnston's Sons of Destiny series--The Sword, The Wolf, The Master, The Song and more to come--feature a couple of the brothers that can shift.
