This book is a breathtaking creative approach to Bible stories. We have taken it very slowly as a family since our only child is only 3 - but he is captivated, and I'm enthralled, and Daddy says let's read more. As animals present at different events in the Bible share the story from their perspective, the stories are made fresh, your heart is left pounding, as you encounter the beauty and power of God and the gospel again.
I've recommended it to everyone I know. How creative to teach key stories of the Bible including the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ through the eyes of the animals in these stories. You'll never regret owning this one. I can't read the last chapter without crying...truly a great book. This book will be part of our read-aloud library for many years to come!
One small thing to note...some vocabulary is more advanced than the normal toddler level. You may have to explain some words if you intend to read it to the 2-5 yr old crowd.
