Princess Noor is stranded with her sexy Sheikh Bari who she feels has betrayed her.
A very good, fast read, I well get the rest of the Sons of the Desert books, I hope that they are as good as this one.
Princess finds out that her fiance was only marrying her due to family pressure. Runs out on the wedding day, followed by fiance, steals their small commuter plane but gets caught in bad weather and they crash near a small island in the gulf. Rest of book is a tale of survival in primitive conditions on the island and getting to know themselves better, which happens to bring them some insights on what it takes to have a good relationship. Unusual novel, well executed. Will appeal to fans of survivor - she is really roughing it!
If you love sheikh's stories, this will do. Stranded on a remote island two lost souls find love.
Slow starting book but got a little better as I continued to read.
From the Romantic Times website:
Noor's only thought when she learns of Bari's lies and betrayal is to escape before the wedding. Still dressed in her gown, she hijacks his private plane and tries to disappear forever. But her recklessness only lands her and the stowaway Bari in a world of trouble when they crash-land in the middle of a tropical storm and wash up on a deserted island. Bari is determined to teach the reckless Noor a lesson of humility and survival but soon realizes he's the one learning a lesson in love. Alexandria Sellers' delightfully well- told Sheikh's Castaway takes a charming modern twist on a classic plot.
