I just read Love in Bloom and now will start Bikini Season. I find Sheila to be a REAL author. A women's author who knows the turth and isn't afraid to put in words. Have you read her??

Love her! You are so right.  She really gets it! I read Bikini Season in Tuscany, Italy last year.  Can't wait for her new book next week.  Will be at Barnes and Noble Tuesday right after school!!!

Just finished Bikini Season and it was wonderful. Sheila is a women's author she says it right. Check her books out but be ready for the honesty that can hit you right between the eyes.

I found On Strike for Christmas quite by accident and loved it.  In parts of it I thought surely she was talking about my house and family during the holidays!

"At Christmastime, it seems as though a woman’s work is never done. Trimming the tree, mailing the cards, schlepping to the mall, the endless wrapping—bah humbug! So this year, Joy and Laura and the rest of their knitting group decide to go on strike. If their husbands and families want a nice holiday—filled with parties, decorations, and presents—well, they’ll just have to do it themselves. The boycott soon takes on a life of its own when a reporter picks up the story and more women join in. But as Christmas Day approaches, Joy, Laura, and their husbands confront larger issues in their marriages and discover that a little holiday magic is exactly what they need to come together. Sheila Roberts gives the best gift of all in this funny, heartwarming novel that touches the very core of Christmas spirit."

Since then I've read, and enjoyed, her other 2 novels.  On Strike for Christmas remains my favorite, though.

Read "Angel Lane" and loved it.  Tried to read "On Srike for XMas" and gave up after page 112.  Just couldn't get into that one!  :(

I just ordered On Strike For Christmas a few days ago  I wish I had ordered it earlier so I could have read it before Christmas.  Oh well, I am still excited to read it. I will check out some of her other books that everyone has mentioned here.
