I really like the various shifter books, especially wolf and feline varieties.  But there don't seem to be many new ones coming out lately. I especially like the ones that feature them as a community, either trying to co-exist with humans or stay secret.  Some of my favorite series are:

  • Psy Chngelings (Nalini Singh)
  • Pride (Shelly Laurenston)
  • Alpha & Omega (Patricia Briggs)
  • Breeds (Lora Leigh)
  • Westervelt Wolves (Rebecca Royce)
  • Granite Lake Wolves (Vivian Arend)

However, there doesn't seem to very many new ones coming out these days.  Any recommendations? What are your favorite series?

J. D. Tyler's Alpha Pack Series. Right now only the first two are out. They were a group of military men attacked by Werewolves and turned, now being an elite group to fight the bad creepy people. There is also one werepanther that joined the group with many other powers, and so on. There's also an organization after them to experiment on them.  Each book is about the whole pack, but zeros in on one and the woman, or mate, he finds.

I definitely second the Tyler books. Just finished them and LOVED them.

Dana Marie Bell has a good series starting with this one:

the first 3 books are in it.

Also I liked Dragon Bound (Elder Races, Bk 1) Author: Thea Harrison. THere are about 4 or 5 of these out.

Jane Yellowrock series by Faith Hunter, the first book is Skinwalker.

Mercenary Falcon Group (only a pair at this time) by Maya Banks, which starts with Into the Mist.

Ilona Andrews (Edge series or Kate Daniels), anything by this author laugh

There's more but my brain is kinda fried...

I read Rachel Vincent's Shifter series a couple months ago.  Its really good, and I second Thea Harrison.

How about Jennifer Ashley's Shifter's Unbound....very good reads. Just wish she would write faster on one hand, but then I want quality. *sigh*.

Shifter Unbound is my favorite shifter series. I like all Jennifer Ashley books though.
