I will suggest this as a very, very good book. It isn't space opera, but its a wonderful character piece. The characters are interesting, there is betrayal, loss and redemption that I think is really, really interesting and worth reading. I wouldn't pick this up for mad beautiful ideas, but I would read it for the characters.

Brilliant! One of those books I do not list on the site, becuase I have re-read several times. Deep and intricate plot. Dark. Sinister. Reminds me of Alien. Highly reccomended.

An excellent story, but I found the narration a bit boring at times.

This was very different from the other books I've read by this author. It was an interesting story, didn't strike me as quirky as his usual but interesting and worth the time.
