I picked this up at a garage sale on a whim. The back description looked interesting, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm really glad I did, because this was a really good read! I enjoyed the characters and the small town setting and especially liked the mystery that kept me guessing until the very end (and I was wrong!). I'm looking forward to more books by this author!

our entire book club read "Shoot the Moon" and it got extremely good reviews..Billie writes with a clear concise mannor that bonds you to the characters. She knows her southern style..I did not solve the mystery, didn't figure out who did it until the end and suspected everyone.. most of the club went on to read all her other books..
