Hi! I was wondering what you all thought on letting someone know that a book they ordered from you has shounen-ai tones. Would you send them a note about it if it wasn't already made aware on the book page? and if so, how would you word something like that without stepping on their feet if they are indeed an s-ai fan? or would you just send the books because after all, it's their points and if they want to use them on those books then that should be that?
What would you do? ^.^;;
If they requested it, and/or it was on their wishlist, there's a good chance they know what it is. Just send it on it's way and hope it greets love. lol
What is the title, btw? Curiosity killed the kitty, not teh Bunny.

Well.. the thing is.. it was a mother requesting them for her son. She told me he was majoring in Japanese and liked anime so she wanted to get them for him. I wasn't sure how to tell her after that, because I do know of some guys who are okay with shounen-ai, and some that aren't. I also didn't want to be the one to alert a mother of these types of comics =_= -- Anywho, I did re-look through the books and didn't see anything too bad. Most of them time I did spot something, it was pg-13'ish and only on one page or two. --- The titles were: Apocripha/0 v1, Sukisho!! (not a particular volume; just a story about a school play), and Lumen Lunae v.1 -- I think Lumen Lunae was probably the most (pg-13) out of the three but most of the book focused on the plot and fighting/action.
bluestar: It would be very helpful if you just put a tag on it that said Yaoi or whatever, or age 18+ or whatever the age is.
Yeah! I wish I had thought to do that beforehand.. but as soon as I posted them, they were requested, so adding tags had completely slipped my mind ^.^; These were the only manga I had that were shounen-ai, so don't think I'll have to worry about it again, though, if I ever do add something like this in the future, I'm going to make good use of those tags :D
Update: Since making this post, I had already mailed them to her. She received them and was happy with them.. So I'm just going to leave it at that. I mean.. if it turns out he doesn't like them, she could post them back on here and I'm sure someone else might want them too? *shrug*
