*****I thoroughly enjoyed this book, but not one I would probably read again. It's about a big city cop who moves to Alaska for some peace & quiet & ends up the town Sheriff in the middle of solving a murder. Usually I can figure out who & what happened about midway through a book. Not this one-it kept me going right up to the end.

Started a little slow and picked up steam all the way through the book.

A savage triple murder sets the scene for a novel that is at once a thriller, a love story and a journey into the worlds last wilderness. A must read..........

I just rec'd this book from another Swapper, only to discover I'd read it some time ago -- it's so good I enjoyed every page all over again! Wonderfully and intelligently well written thriller, set in Siberia, lots of surprises, very human and sympathetic characters -- highly recommended!!

I didn't know much about Siberia (beside that it's real cold there). But Robin White brings this 'last frontier' to pulsating life while telling a story that moves at break-neck pace. Great book!

This is very good. You keep wondering how the hero is going to save the day-and he does! Of course, he has a beautiful woman to help him and a steadfast friend. Go ahead and get it, it's well worth reading!
