Excellent narrative on Sidney's very interesting life, career and filmography. I only knew him as an author of thrillers and had no idea of his vast talent. Well worth getting to know him and pleasant listening to the reader. The follow-up interview with Mr Sheldon was the perfect finish to the biography.

Enjoyable. Overviews the Hollywood studio system from the perspective of a writer. Has a life long battle with manic depression (now called bi-polar disorder). Sheldon got lucky, even at times when he experienced hardship.

He could write well.

If you are a Sidney Sheldon fan you know how each chapter is fast moving and keeps your interest snagged. Well The Other Side of Me will give you insight to man who was compassionate, caring and persistant in a field that he captured so well.

Sideny Sheldon, who found success in the tv, film, literature and theatre fields, writes a candid story of his life. It's packed with anecdotes about everyone from Frank Sinatra to Irving Berlin to Marilyn Monroe.

Interesting life story of a very talented, interesting man.

This is the autobiography of a gentleman who knew better than to "kiss and tell". He worked his career during one of the most interesting periods in Hollywood. I wish I had known him.
