This was the kind of book you do not want to put down. Very good!
this the 3rd of a series featuring winter massey
Through desperate measures Lucy regains her fight for life and Winter has to trust his own instincts to find her alive. His ally and friend could be using him. He has to stop trusting the people he trust most to find the way out.
A kidnapping plot as vicious as it is brilliant. Two innocent victims with only hours to live. An ex-lawman who is their last, best hope for survival.
This is the third book in the Winter Massey Series. I hadn't read the previous two books, but I don't think it mattered, as this felt like a standalone.
Winter is called in to help and old FBI friend. She is trying to rescue the kidnapped daughter and grandson of a judge who has been ordered to release an evil army colonel or his daughter and grandson will be killed.
There are lots of people involved in this scheme from low level criminals to government workers. Who can Winter trust? I let you read and find out.
A pretty good read. I think I continue with this series to see what happens wither Winter next.
My first encounter with Winter Massey but now will back up and catch up on him--good character
