Hi Miranda! Nora Roberts isn't chick lit. You would get better results if you posted on the Love & Romance board! :)

I think there needs to be a sticky post explaning what chick lit is so people can click on it and don't get confused

Thanks for the input. I would enjoy a sticky explaining chick lit please. Sign of 7 is a mystery, not romance. Have a great weekend ladies.

Do you think it'd work, Deborah? Look at all the people who post erroneously in the BB. And I think there are TWO stickies there. I think people who break rules think they don't apply to them (I'm not saying that's THIS case right here) and the ones who post in here like "Hey y'all, I know that I have no chick lit on my shelf but want you to look at it anyway, so I'll just say it's a female writer so hey it must be chick lit" are going to do it anyway. Look at the people in the BB who post five new (or bump) threads a day, even long-time members. I think some of the threads in here are pretty good descriptors, I think we just have to ask PBS to make it a sticky.

Heather, It sounds good to me. We could all use a little direction from time to time, in several different forums.

At least a sticky would be available - even if one person read it it would help :)

Hey Miranda,  you might want to try the Paranormal thread also, the members there are awsome, and always working deals!

Oh no no no! I'm a regular on the Paranormal forum and no no no ... we are not always "working deals" in misc. threads. We have our sticky at the top of the page and that's where the deals go. Or should go.

We also have our wishlist thread but that is for wishlist books only and not for deals either although some try to post them there and depending on what it is, is whether it's apropriate or not.

Deals are not allowed in the genre forums. I believe it's part of the rules somewhere. Deals should be in the Book Bazaar if there is no sticky thread. If there is a sticky thread in the genre forum... they go there.

Chill, I never said on the misc thread.......   and the paranormal thread is where these books belong, therefore would have more interest.... sheesh

.

I really don't know why people get so bent out of shape by what is posted and where, it's not like you are going to run out of room or something.

If you don't want to read the post skip it.
