I need to know if I should take off the ".com" at the bottom of my sig line.  I found out how to add it to my profile page, but I don't know how to do the blue-link-y thing (which I think is ok to do in the sig line, but since I don't know how, is what I did ok?)  Is my question even making since to anyone?!

Carol, I use the link button the the toolbar that appears under 'Post A Reply.'  The link button is third from the right and looks like three links of chain.  You will need to copy the url from your link location, and past it into the pop up box.  Your 'Settings' should have the same toolbar.

Here's a discussion thread on this topic http://www.paperbackswap.com/forum/topic.php?t=119368 or Including a Link in a Forum Post. - both links appear different but should go the same place.

The first example I used copy and paste, while typing you will see the actual website addy but it changes to the word 'link' when saved.  The second example I typed the phrase of my choice, highlighted, and used the link (chain) button on the control bar.

Yay!  Denise!!  I searched and had found a link on this, but couldn't for the life of me figure out what they were talking about "chain link" button!  Thank you so much for talking so plainly to this novice!  I still don't think I would have figured it out if you hadn't added "the toolbar that appears under 'Post A Reply'"!  Now I know who to come to!
