I 've posted some history and historical fiction books that I really loved as a child.  Look on my bookshelf at the books that start with "The Story of..." and "We Were There...", plus two others, Snowshoe Thompson, and Young Thomas Edison.

Most are intended for 5th through 9th grade, with the latter 2 being a notch or two above a 5th grade reading level, in my estimation.

I've scanned these, and will be adding the pictures when the site is ready for us to post pictures again.
