Ok, you know when a book is received they ask you to mark when it was mailed...well, I try and always fill that in so, I got this book today and I go to mark it received and fill in all the information well, lo and behold according to the USPS I got the book before it was mailed in the future.....Postmarked June 20, 2008...stamped several times on the package.  So, this goes to show that the USPS gets a bit screwy at time...

Thought everyone could enjoy a laugh....

Some of them never get marked.  You could almost remove the stamps and reuse them because there's no postal stamp anywhere.

Wow, that's an incredible feat Christy - getting a book from the.....FUTURE! Haha, thanks for the laugh! :-)

Well, since June 2nd was a Monday, we'll assume thats when it was and the Postal clerk was just recovering from the weekend!  I wonder how many packages were stamped wrong before someone caught on :)  Pretty cool for you to get it from the future though!

That's also interesting to note since someone posted in the forums not long ago wanting to know if she should add something in the comment box about the book being marked mailed prior to the date shown on the printed label.  I know the printed label is different than the handstamp, but I can see how a similar mistake could be made...even if was a technology glitch!
