I accidently reprinted a wrapper for a book I haven't mailed yet. (Thought I was printing a new one.) I used the PBS delivery confirmation option so now I'm out the extra $$$.  If I understand it correctly the charge is immediate, not when the book is scanned.

I looked through the help docs, but didn't see a way to get my money back.  I'm assuming this is just a lesson I learned, but was wondering if anyone might have some recommendations as to how to get get my .27 back.  Thanks!

If you printed it the same way both times, you only get charged the first time. So you won't be out the second fee. :)

ETA: Help Center - FAQs about Printable Postage

Can I reprint the wrapper?  Will I be charged again?

  • Yes you can reprint the wrapper.  No, you won't be charged again.
  • To reprint, just click Print Wrapper (or RePrint Wrapper, if you have marked the book mailed already) on the request, and reprint from the Wrapper Settings page that comes up.
  • Of course each wrapper can be used only once, to send one shipment.

Duh!  I must have selective reading like my DH has selective hearing.  I didn't find that at all!  Thank you so much!  I don't know how much longer I can use the excuse of being new at this, but I'm trying one more time for this one!

LOL, it's ok. We all try to help out around here. I know I have searched for stuff I know I've seen before and can't find it, then all of a sudden its right in front of me.

Tami -- do you know about the Money Registry? It's on your My Account page, last link on the right. You can see where all your PBS Money went for the past 60 days and you can confirm that the DC fee was only deducted one time for each book.

Cathy, I hadn't found that either!  Thanks for pointing it out.  I've tried to look at everything a little at a time, but there's a lot of information to absorb!  I appreciate everyone helping me learn the ropes.

HUGS to all!

Tami

Oh, this is great to know!  I have wondered the same thing, and missed it in the help docs.

Thanks!
