A love story about a naive country girl with a kind heart and a nobleman with a heart that is afraid to love again. It's well written and worth the read.

Brice Warfield Marquess of Warrinton is stikingly handsome. But he is notorious for being ruthless and unfeeling. Three years ago his parents and brother were murdered. He hides and icy demeanor and a heart of stone. Until on a dark night in 1818 the cloaked figure of a woman came out of the mist and threw herself in fron abullet that could have killed him. Elora Simmons, inocent and fresh from the country, hair damp with the London fog, was on her way to a new posittion as a governess,Heedlees of her own saftey,she has seen the pistol poised to fire and acted.
This is a wonderfull story I really enjoyed it. the hero and the herion are wonderful the storu really touched me.
