I'm searching for an author who writes Southern Chic Lit (I think that would be the genre).  I found her via a suggestion from a friend for Hissy Fit.  I then flew thru her other books: Little Bitty Lies, Savannah Blues and Savannah Breeze and am in Search of Blue Christmas.  I've also read her writing mystery as Kathy Hogan Trocheck which I enjoyed too.

Would love to find books similar to the southern setting and the humor in the books by Mary Kay Andrews.  Any and all suggestions are very much appreciated!

Thanks,

Melanie

Haywood Smith has some Red Hat books and other southern themed books out.

Deborah Smith has quite a few southern books, not as funny, but very good reads.  FYI - there are 2 Deborah Smiths - one is a longtime nationally recognized author, the other is a more recent author of christian themed fiction.  The one I'm referring to is the first - I haven't read anything from the second one.

If you think you'd like southern paranormal, Charlaine Harris's Sookie Stackhouse books are pretty good too.
