A very educational read. The book was well put together and easy to follow (except for the fact that most of the characters had the same names!)
The book is divided into sections, each one following the life of one of the Grey sisters. It really was a tragedy, all that they had to go through because of the royal Tudor blood that flowed through their veins. I often found myself offended for the way that they were treated. Even my 10 year old daughter told me "I would never kill my cousin just to marry a boy" [in reference to Bloody Mary's beheading of Jane Grey.]
I was surprised at the amount of this family that I didn't know. It was good to learn more about this side of the royal family, and not just Henry's line.

I had a very hard time getting through this book. The topic was interesting, but the writing was a bit dry for my taste. It was also hard to keep all the different men involved straight in my head; I wish the author had chosen to call each by only one name, instead of varying between last names and Duke of whatever. Not my favorite book on Tudor history.
