Hmmm....I shouldn't be surprised to see this type of site: Lendink

I haven't checked it out yet but maybe I will later.

They're popping up all over the place. Books For My Nook has been around for awhile, and I see they now have a sister site, Books For My Kindle.

Here you go. Sorry about the omission. I have not used either site - I have very little to offer to lend on either the Nook or the Kindle.

http://www.booksfornooks.com/

In Googling to get the Nook site, I was reminded that this particular forum is not private.

What's "crs"?

I think she meant credits.

It's really not based on credits that you have to buy.  They just limit someone to have 3 books out at a time to keep from one person on loading up on books.  As soon as the book you borrow is expired or returned early, you get that credit back to get another book.  So far, it looks like a decent site, but I'm still in the "looking through" stage. :)

Not sure...After I signed up the next page said I had 3 crs!  But I got no farther as they wanted me to post books!  I still have 6... I could lend when I had my Nook but without Nook I dont know how to lend them.  ANY way I got no father into the site.

Sheeh at least my Library allows 5 hehehe

You can lend from your bn.com account if you go to their website and look at your Nookbook library.

Yeap, I've loaned a book by opening my Nook library on my PC and lending it.  In fact, folks don't even need a Nook <gasp!> to read Nookbooks.  They can just install the BN Nook app on their netbook, laptop, or mobile phone and read the books there.

Actually, I've only used the B&N site to do all my lending.  It's so simple and fast.  I leave my Wi-Fi off on my Nook unless I'm downloading new ebooks, so it's just faster to use the website.

Marilyn - thanks for the link to Booksformykindle...joined this morning and just borrowed my first book!  Listed 4 of my lendable books and still have to go through many more to see if they are lendable, but wanted to see how it all works first.  Looks like it might be a nice way to share books.

I just discovered http://www.kindlelendingclub.com to swap my kindle titles. I've already lent one out and borrowed one and it worked great.
