Excellent book I really learned a lot about archaeology and how it works. The suspense keeps you going right up until the end. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in history and how dig sites work.

This book was rather book but it took me awhile to get through it. There are some parts that make you want to read and read and then some parts that are just so boring. I was rather pleased that I finished it though because the ending was great. :)

(from the book cover)Was it the hoax of the century... or a truth so shattering it would tear the world apart?

Stays with you long after you finish reading the book.

An interesting idea of archeology facts conflicting with Christianity and the potential political repercussions . . . and the truth behind both the faith and the facts.

If you like mystery, diametrically opposed beliefs and human frailty this book deals with them all.

For the faithful, the political ramifications were interesting to consider.
For the scientist, the process and possibilities were interesting to consider.
For the fence-sitter, both sides were plausible.
