I was en route to work with my mom when I saw a small dog get in the middle of a very busy intersection. I made her stop and I jumped out of the car and tried my best to coral the dog to the other side of the road. After walking with the dog and leading it to a safe bend in a neighbors fence, I walked up the door asking if anyone knew the dog or if it was theirs (it was cowering near the woman's fence).
When a woman answered the door I asked if she knew the dog and her face lit up. She told me that the dog had been missing for a day and she was worried sick about it.
When I explained that it was trying to cross the street to come home, she was amazed that the dog had made it.
I told her how happy I was that the dog was returned and that I needed to go to work, but to have a great day.
Just wanted to share!
Carrilyn, I am an animal lover and always love to hear when someone does something nice for an animal. Thank you so much. I know just how that woman feels. Our pets are part of our family. Thank you so much for saving that dog's life. You're an angel!
