I just got a mesage saying the book i sent to her smelled so horrible of smoke she coulden't even read it.shoulden't she have put no smoking in her conditions? I do smoke aand have turned down requests in the past because they dident want books from a smoker

Yes -- if someone does not want a book that smells of smoke, then s/he needs to have a Requestor Condition. As long as your book met PBS postability guidelines and there were no RCs, you did nothing wrong by sending the book.

Smoke smell does not make a book unpostable per PBS guidelines.  Requester objections to smoke should be addressed by way of RC...that's exactly what they are for.

Just had another book requested but thank goodness they had  a RC of no smokers shew!!!LOL
