This is book is set up like a field guide. It will help your child identify snakes, salamanders and lizards. There is a page devoted to each reptile included in the book (10 snakes, 10 salamanders and 10 lizards. Each page provides a colored drawing of the reptile, tips on where to find the reptile (scary for parents but the kids love this part!) what it looks like, what it eats and where it lives. When needed the book contains special warnings (i.e. Don't touch. They will bite. Wear boots.) Like I said before - your kids will love this book and parents may have to hold their breath!
