Delightful and inspiring, this story of brave children who use their sleds to smuggle gold out of the country right under the noses of the Nazi soldiers is a must read.

Great title for kids to read when learning about WWII - it helps put them into that time period and experience it a little bit.

My girls begged me to keep reading ever night. This was a great story!
My whole family loves this book from my four year old to my husband and myself. An excellent, riveting story.
