This book is based on the movie screenplay, and it shows. It literally bored me to death and I couldn't finish it because I felt like I was watching the movie all over again without the excitement and sexy eye candy. Don't get me wrong, I loved this movie, but I just couldn't get into the book. I like watching movies based off books and seeing the different spin they put on it. I also like to compare those differences and decide which one I like better. I can't do that with these two because they are exactly alike. As I was reading I could actually envision the parts happening and I kept thinking to myself that I would rather be watching the movie than reading about it and thinking about the visuals in my head. There was no depth.

The characters are boring, the plot is boring, everything about this book just screams boring. Seriously, if it weren't for the movie I would probably hate this whole story because of the book. I'm really glad this was the book I picked to read next and give away because I'm not going to miss it at all. Usually there's this sadness I get when I have to send a book of mine off to a new home. Nah, not this time. I really hope that it finds love at its next location because it wasn't going to get it here. The movie should have been based off the book, not the other way around. It totally ruined everything for me, and I wouldn't recommend reading it at all if you've seen the movie. I feel like I need to go watch it now just to make up for the suck.
