Wonderfully inspirational story of the Vermont farmer who photographed snowflakes, discovered there are no two alike, and collected 5,800 photographs of snowflakes! This is a biography of his life written primarily for children but the content and style/substance make is a good read for any adult as well.
This book points to the fact that science can reveal the certainty of a God and a higher dimension in life. There are a few photographs in the book and and extensive bibliography for those who wish to study further.
I will admit I am the daughter of the author. However, you will see that this is a high quality book - now out of print but it is a true gem. My mother worked for years to get this book published and it is in my opinion the crowning achievement of her writing career. She has written two other young adult biographies: Henry Leland and Grace and Cal.
My Mom wrote this book!!! It's a wonderful book about the life of Wilson Bentley who first discovered how to photograph snowflakes. This book is a biography about his life and although I know I am biased because my Mom wrote it -- is excellent and has great pictures as well!!!!
