Christy, they're your books. Yes, it will disappoint the member who was wishing for one of them, but IMO you have the right to get them "rehomed" (I like that!) all together if you can. |

She probably didn't have enough credits for both, but figured that since she is first in line for the first one and it was offered to her, she should get it. Since the BB rules state you should not be offering WLed books there, you probably shouldn't do that. It sucks, if you can't afford to send them then cancel, but I wouldn't try to go around the first person in line, not fair to her either. |

I would post them in the BB, and also see if any of the people waiting for the other volumes would like the whole series. If you want to send them all together, you absolutely have that right. You could also try posting the series in the forum dedicated to its genre. |

I'd order all three. =) |

I'm going to dissent. I think if you posted the book, and then cancelled on the person just because they won't order more from you then that's just not right. Yes, they're your books and I understand what you're saying you wanted to do, but that's not what you did. You didn't put a notice for the threesome in the bazaar, you put it up in the normal system, and now someone who was patiently waiting their turn for a WL book gets it, and then gets it taken away just because they won't order the other ones from you. Doesn't sit right with me. Sara |

I thought that we could NOT advertise wishlisted books in the book bazaar UNLESS they are posted under a different ISBN or damaged. If we can, can we change the rule in the red sticky so that dizzy people like me don't get all confused and ssssstuff? |

Sara wrote: I think if you posted the book, and then cancelled on the person just because they won't order more from you then that's just not right. I agree. If it's a wishlist book, and you post it, you should honor the transaction by sending only the one book, if she doesn't want them all.

And I went back and copied the BB rule I was referring to: (6) No trying to jump the Wish List "line" by offering or asking for postable Wish Listed books. Postable Wish Listed books should be posted and swapped "officially". This of course does not apply to posts advertising an alternate ISBN (or non-ISBN version) of a Wish Listed title; it is fine to advertise that you have those posted to your bookshelf. |

I posted in a genre forum once "I have this series. I know it's WL'd. Does anyone have them all on their WL and will accept them all?" Then I posted directly to a responders WL. I really didn't want to have one not accepted or send them all to different places. |

I agree with Sara. Also, if your not able to afford the postage to mail all three seperate then you should just hold off posting them altogether. |

I also agree with Sara. The key here, IMO, is that you've already posted them. (although Dartha makes a good point with the Book Bazaar rules!) The other issue I have is this..when you order books, are you going to make sure you order 3 books from one person so that they save on shipping? We all like to save on postage, naturally, but this doesn't sit right with me, either. |
