anyone can upload book covers.  there is a link at the bottom of the page that says Upload Covers.  All you need is the ISBN and a jpg of the cover that has been sized down (I think the dimensions are 300x500 pixels)

this is from the help docs

  • Find a cover image for the book on another Internet database, or scan one in or take a digital photograph
    • The image must be less than 5 MB
    • The image must be in .jpg format
    • The image must be cropped to show only the book cover
    • The image can't be one that has "See inside!" (some images from Amazon.com have this)
  • Scroll down to the bottom of any page on the site
  • Click "Upload Book Covers"
  • Enter the ISBN for the book
  • Browse your hard drive for the cover image
  • Click to submit it
  • The Image Approvers will usually approve images quickly.
    • If your image is not approved, it might have been too fuzzy or in the wrong format or not properly cropped
    • The Image Approvers will often replace your image with a better one when your submission comes in.

I know that. But as I stated, a job would be cool. I just wondered how you get them.

paying job?  don't think they have those.  you can be on the book image team.  go to feedback and send in a request

Erin--

If you mean being a member of the data and/or image editing teams, we are volunteers, not employees :-)

That said, there's a thread with all sorts of info here: http://www.paperbackswap.com/forum/topic.php?t=60867

Cheers,

Catt

I didn't mean paying job. :D I should have worded that better. I just meant on the PBS team for the Book info & images.
