This was a 90's MMPB historical western romance. I think it was a Zebra but I could be wrong.

Set in Texas ( pretty sure ) with a black haired widow and a blond hero. I believe her name was Elizabeth. She owned a sheep ranch which caused conflict with her cattle owning neighbors. Her late husband was a true jerk and had raped a woman in town that looked like our heroine and fathered her little boy which caused her to be shunned by the town except Elizabeth herself. She finds the hero shot and wounded and brings him to her ranch nursing him back to health. The little boy ends up being kidnapped by the villain.

If anybody knows this title I would appreciate it! Also, I'm in a western phase so any good 80's or 90's historicals in that setting you'd like to share the titles to?

Finally found it. It's "Sweet Texas Surrender" by Victoria Thompson.

Another good western romance is The Outsider by Penelope Williamson.  Mine is a keeper.  And I also loved Sweet Lullaby by Lorraine Heath.  One of my all time favorite books is The Best Man by Maggie Osborne.

Joe's Wife by Cheryl St. John is a good western romance - also liked A Rogue in Texas by Lorraine Heath.

And if you get back on the medieval kick - Keeper of the Dream by Penelope Williamson is really good!
