First I want to stress she is a buddy and I LIKE her...however for oh MONTHS I have nicely asked her to please NOT send me these group PM's on games and contests etc.....but she keeps it up. I do not want to get her in trouble. Can I just delete her as a buddy to avoid all the crap in my in box?

Yes, you can delete her if you want.  You might want to send her one last PM and tell her that you've asked her numerous times to NOT send you blast PMs about games and such but you are still getting them, and you will have to delete her from your buddy list if you get one more.

Good plan Sandy, let her know you enjoy the personal notes but please discontinue the spam and blasts.

And if you do delete her as a Buddy, keep in mind that you CAN still PM her, and she can still PM you, it's just that you won't be on the buddy list. I've only ever gotten a couple of blast PMs about games and such (which I don't play) and when I asked to not receive them, the person complied right away, It could be that if your buddy is very active in the games and swaps, she can't remember who wants the blasts and who doesn't. Still, I agree with you, that'd be annoying as heck.

Ask her to use the "tag" function to put a note under your name as a reminder.  I did that for a few people when I had previously sent out notices about a 2 for 1.  Easy enough, if they still continue after this final appeal then it would be delete time.  Best of luck!

Yea, I know, one of mine does the same thing even though I've told her over and over I do not enjoy coming to PBS to see spam in my PM box.

And yes. It's spam. I've told her at least 10 times that I am not interested. Yet it still keeps coming. I think I should probably just delete her.

In the past I've just deleted those people.  Anyone who tries to buddy me gets approved automatically, so I just self-delete buddies who send too many blast PMs.

Wow thank you everyone...I did clear it up with her in a way that let her know I still want to pm and all..She didn't want to tag everyone as she said she has over 200 buddies...I guess I would have tagged all those who do not want these pm's even if it was just one member but I didn;'t go into that with her it seemed as if I would be arguing then...so we agreed on delete buddy and just pming.......Again thanks all..I think after so many times of asking to please be taken off the list it's time to take action...my name and hers are easy to remember so we won't need to see the screen name on our buddy list if we want to chat...AGAIN THANK YOU :)

Her best solution is to tag everyone with a tag that says something like "Invites". Then remove that tag when people ask to be removed from the list. Much easier that way, I'd think.
