Once a million years ago when I was in high school. I was sitting around talking to my English teacher before the younger kids came in for a tutoring session at which I was a student assisstant.  I had a paperback book in my hand with the name of a former student and wasattempting to scribble through the name.  She said "watch this" and wrote several words over the name tne the name could no longer be read!( For instance if the name was Katherine Andrews you could write My mother likes rosesand then over that write  Sometimes goats bite Mr. Smith.) I thought it was magic and please try it if you haven't already.  you will be amazed.

I had heard that writing "apples" over and over again would have the same effect.
