Another great Jim Henson Muppet book! Wonderful, colorful illustrations of the Muppets as kids. Fozzie Bear has always been close to his Grandpa. When he was younger he they spent lots of time together and he taught him many things. Now that he was older Fozzie spent most of his time with his friends but him and Grandpa never missed the opening season game of their favorite baseball team. They make plans but Kermit win tickets to the circus and invites Fozzie to go on the same day him and Grandpa were going to the game.
Grandpa tells him to go with Kermit but that night he begtan to feel bad about his decision. He tells Kermit it is off and why. He goes to Grandpa and tells him about his decision. Grandpa tells him how much he loves him and sometimes when you love someone let them do the things they want instead of what you want. Fozzie choose his Grandpa.
This is a great book teaching children about how true love gives up things it wants for the other person.
