I am reading Son ,the last of The Giver series and I'm having to ration it because it is so good. If you have read the other three then get on the list.

I picked it up at the library a few days ago. I think it'll be the next one I'll read, since I wanted to re-read all of the books in the Giver quartet before I started Son. It's good hearing Son is holding up. :)

This was a wonderful, heart wrenching but ultimately fulfilling book. Unlike reviewers on Amazon I didn't find the middle part boring or too slow- very rich in detail.

I got three quarters of the way through and decided to reread the other three before I finish. Life is so hard for a reader--especially a retired one!

Thanks for the heads-up!  I wasn't aware there was a new book in this series.
