I just discovered this series and love it.  I am looking for book 7, All Together Dead, and am hoping someone out thre would like to do a swap for earlier books in the series.  I have books 4, 5 &6.  Send me a PM if you are interested.  Thanks!

I have some of these in my TBR pile...how are they? are they more funny or serious? gruesome or more like a cozy? guess it's kinda late to be asking since I have the first 4 or so ready to read but I like to be prepared before I start reading! Have you read the 'undead' series by maryjanice davidson? I've only read the 1st but my coworker borrowed the ones I had and reallyliked them.

Susanna, The Sookie series in my opinion is MUCH better than the undead series. Harris' series are more mystery than chick-lit, which is what I would characterize the undead series. I also recommend Harris' Grave (paranormal mysteries) and Shakespeare (dark mysteries) series - both have elements of romance in them. Excellent reads. Marilyn

thanks!I've only read the first undead book and you're right..the chick lit part was pretty heavy! sometimes I e njoye chick lit type stuff but at the time wasn't really in the mood for it. Ilike mystery though!

I agree with Marilyn - if you like mystery, this is a fun series.  Its gots lots of supernatural characters but Harris keeps it light.
