Part of the Society Wives Series, one doesn't have to read the other books (I haven't), this novel is about Emma who doesn't believe in love who is prevented from marrying for friendship by Garrett, a never forgotten first love.

A real page turner. I read it in one sitting. A very romantic book about first loves that find each other again later in life.

Good continuation with the connecting of the books in series, but I thought there was too much going on in this book, so much so, that the couple's story was almost the 'b' story. Plus I heard more from the hero's sister than I wanted to actually. It just wasn't long enough for all that was going on, but what was there was pretty good.
