I really do enjoy Stephanie Plum and I LOVED Sofie Metropolis.  Is this series kind of like those??

I read the first 2 and didn't find them as silly/funny as Plum (not familiar with the other you mentioned) I didn't warm up to Sophie but the stories were pretty good. I didn't care for her 'romance' with that guy..can't remember his name..both were so tough and 'cold' at times. I have the 3rd lined up but haven't made my way to it yet.

I'm reading the first Sophie Katz now and there is less action than a Stephanie Plum, but it is still a funny collection of family and friends.  I think Sophie Katz is worth a whirl!

I really enjoy this series!  It reads like chick lit, with a mystery component.
