Hi everyone. I mistakenly posted a solicitation message here earlier and I sincerely apologize to anyone I may have offended in any way. I honestly wasn't trying to consciously break rules. I just forgot there was a rule against them. Anyway, I couldn't remove my topic so I just deleted my original content. Again, I apologize, especially to the moderator/s and other staff members. God bless!

Not sure of the responses you may get from this post. But, most people seem to steer clear from things like this, especially if it's on the internet. Although, I believe it's great to want or be able to help others, it's still a scary thing to trust in when it comes to the internet. Just my opinion.

Hi anna. I know I might not get any response at all but I'm hopeful. :) I can understand people's hesitation to help out. That's okay. I'm just hoping somebody would still be kind enough to respond. I don't know how else I can prove it's not a scam, other than my word and I suppose to most, if not all, it's not worth anything since they don't know me. :) Oh well. I wish I had a more official-looking website for this actually but I don't know much about website layouts and designs and those things and I can't afford to buy a domain either. I've tried to support this feeding program of mine that I started last year but I'm not rich at all and my help only gets to sponsor a couple of feedings then it goes on a lull again then I donate again and so on and so forth. :) Oh well, I would still like to try. I am trusting in people's kindness and hopefully lack of cynicism. :) Again, to everyone reading this, I PROMISE IT'S NOT A SCAM but I guess that's all the assurance I can give you for now. If anyone has a suggestion how I can prove it better, please I would appreciate your comments and please comment or bump it for me even if you can't help. Others might if they see it. :) Thanks!

Even though it may be a worthy cause, solicitation is not allowed in PBS forums.

From the help center:

  •  Advertisement or solicitation is not permitted in any member-contributed content on PBS, including the Discussion Forums and members' Forum sigs on PBS. (This does not include "advertising" your PBS bookshelf in the Book Bazaar.)

We will remove any links or other material which actively solicit for a commercial (or nonprofit) purpose. It is okay (an exception to the no-commercial-links policy)  to include a link to your personal webpage in your forum sig or public profile, even if your webpage is your business webpage; but there must be no accompanying soliciting text with the link. No links to other swapping sites, or any commercial sites, may appear in any member-contributed content on PBS--not in Forum sigs, nor Forum posts, nor PBS Profiles, nor PMs, nor the Eclectic Pen, nor Reviews or Book Tags

Oh darn it! I forgot to check the rules and guidelines again. I have read through that whole thing before but I had forgotten about that part about no solicitation. Thanks, melanie! I will try to remove it now. Gosh, I hope I can.
