I was trying to look at people's shelves who were offering deals, however it was too hard to wade through. you can search for a specific genre but wouldn't it be super convenient to be able to just sort the whole bookshelf by genre so they would be grouped together? is there a way to do that? sorting by author isn't too helpful for me.

You can sort by genre.  Click on the button called search::filter::browse by Genre.

A menu bar appears with keywords, binding and a field with two dashes.  Click on the drop down for the field with two dashes.  You can then sort by genre.

I tried that, I thought but it only lets you select a genre and then only shows that. I want it to just sort them all and group by genre. am I doing it wrong?

No it doesn't group by genre - sorry I didn't understand.   It would be nice to see the whole bookshelf sorted by genre.

I would send feedback to the PBS team - you never know if enough membes request the feature..it may just happen.

Oops.  Already said.  Just have to go through one genre at a time, then go back to do the next.
